Lofree Flow84 keyboard: A quick review

I swapped out my keyboard for the Lofree Flow84 keyboard today. After using a Keychron Q1 Max for a while, I really missed the simple low-profile keyboard.

This little mechanical keyboard is pretty awesome. With an aluminum casing and minimal design, it feels premium.

The typing experience is precisely what I was hoping for. While quite (for a mechanical keyboard), it has a nice "thock" sound and an excellent feel when pressing the keys. It's low profile and very easy to type on.

A couple of minor gripes that don't impact me, but maybe others.

My Apple Vision Pro Demo

I had the opportunity to demo the Apple Vision Pro yesterday. The following is a write-up of my experience.

My store had a section blocked off with a couple of tables where a few people could do the demo simultaneously. Unfortunately, it was a sitting experience and quite loud in the room. It was not the ideal setup because of the noise and the other people in my “view,” but it probably didn’t deter the experience much.

I have recently discovered that I love writing on paper. It allows me to escape the digital world, and writing on paper allows me to think without distractions.

But paper can be messy. You deal with flipping through pages, smudging, mistakes that are difficult to fix, and the inability to move things, among other issues. While some argue this adds to the experience, there could be a better solution for some.
